Adding payment system is a very important part of the e-commerce site. Three payment systems are available by default in WooCommerce plugin. These are Direct bank transfer, Check payments, and Cash on delivery. Many WordPress plugins are available to add other payment methods. Cash on delivery option is enable by default. The ways of adding different types of payment systems to WooCommerce have been shown in this tutorial.

Click on the Payments tab of the WooCommerce setting page. The following option will appear.

Enable the Direct bank transfer option and click on the Manage button. The following page will appear. Add the bank account details.

Enable the Check payments option and click on the Manage button. The following page will appear. Modify the fields that you want.

Now, three payment methods are enabled. Suppose, you want to add the bkash payment system. Click on the Add new plugin button from the plugin page. Search the Bangladesh Payment Gateways plugin. Install and activate the plugin.

Enable the bkash payment option and click on the Manage button.

Fill up the fields based on the bkash account information.

Add a product in the cart and click on the checkout option. But if the bkash payout option does not exist then edit the checkout page. The following error will appear because the installed bkash app does not support the block-based page. Convert the page into the non-block page to support the bkash payment.

The following page will appear after checkout if the bkash payment method works properly. The buyer can select any one of the four payment method to complete the payment process.

You can add other payment methods in your woocommerce site by iinstalling the required plugin.
